Teaching

Both of my parents are teachers and a blackboard and chalk were early features in my bedroom. I love to teach because it allows me to rehearse my own values, exchange new ideas, listen and learn from others. I have had the great honor of teaching in diverse college environments including the COPE program for Women on Public Assistance through the City University of New York, New York University, Rutgers University-Newark, the Language and Thinking program at Bard College and the English department of Macalester College. Since fall 2000, however, my pedagogical home base has been the College of St. Catherine in St. Paul, MN.
